Why Me?
with Leah, it’s all about family
Plain and simple—family means everything to me. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to support yours. I don’t just see this as work; I see it as a personal commitment to truly knowing and understanding you and your child. Every case I take on is treated with the same care and dedication as if I were advocating for my own family members.
I know how overwhelming the world of special education can be. I’ve witnessed the tears—both of joy and frustration—and I’ve seen firsthand how empowering knowledge can be. When you understand the “ins and outs” of this journey, everything changes. And you know what makes even the most difficult path easier? Family.
At Close the Gap Consulting, we’re more than just a service—we’re a community. So come join our family, and let’s navigate this together.
what sets Me apart?
I’ve worked as an educator, administrator, and consultant, giving me an insider’s perspective on “all things special education”. I’ll help you work with your school to build a positive relationship. Together we’ll navigate the paperwork, decode the jargon and help you approach meetings and your child’s educational journey with confidence and clarity!
When I’m not “nerd-ing out” on Special Education related things, I love spending time with my wonderful husband, our one-eyed rescue dog, Ava, and my wonderful sisters, niece and parents!
